The newspaper is a guide of a very popluar role-play game called Werewolf, which is almost like another verison of Mafia game with another name. The only trick of playing the game is to play another role and try to conceal your true identity.
Combining basic rules, game tricks and slangs, most importantly, the script excerpt from the final scene of Witness for the Prosecution, 1957 (No spoilers, but I’d say the key to this scene lies in brilliant role-play), it presented fragmented and cryptic content that requires readers to piece it together. And through a layout that constantly shifts the reader’s perspective, the newspaper creates an interactive experience akin to playing a game.
